Frank Lloyd Wright, one of the most renowned modern architects of the twentieth century. A true pioneer in modern architecture dominating the historical canon of architecture of his time. Florida Southern College is the most concentrated area of Mr. Wright's architecture. He found college campuses to be phenomenal institutions with heinous architecture that did not properly fuel the psyche of the American college student. Florida Southern was his execution of a modern academic institution and all that it should be in aesthetics.

I capture Mr. Wright's architecture at this academic institution in a frame meant to be reminiscent of binoculars, a telescope, or as one person said a fish bowl. The juxtaposition of the overtly geometric design against a rounded frame is meant to create contrast that engages the viewer to critically think about the frame and the perspective it provides. The art that ls Mr. Wright's architecture deserves to be captured in an equally artistic form, to be put on display in a way that seems you are peeking into a set of binoculars to appreciate the beauty from afar, as if it's a majestic eagle in the sky.
